One such option is PETG. PETG is a type of well-known and widely used plastic PET (polyethylene terephthalate), which is used for the manufacture of food containers, water bottles, fibers for clothes.
The addition of glycol during the polymerization process results in the formation of “glycol-modified” PET or PETG. The chemical formula of PETG is (C10H8O4) n. Glycol makes plastic more durable, less brittle, cleaner and easier to use.
